Ah I see it now, I watched it again and yes there it is towards the end! They asked the contestants what they had and then they just skipped the Dictionary Corner :D:D
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.

    Quote, Martin:
"I think (hope) it’s not super-secret that the dictionary corner person has one of the producers - a former countdown grand champion - helping via an earpiece."

Did anyone see Sunday's News of the World (7/6/09) about the Countdown "revelation" (it's on page 3, directly below topless pics of Britney:p) ?
    http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/news/346086/Countdowns-Dictionary-Corner-expert-Susie-Dent-is-secretly-told-the-answers-through-an-earpiece.html

Apparently, "a words whizz producer on the Channel 4 show helps her out by suggesting answers down an EARPIECE....... A source said: It's the Dictionary Corner con. Viewers think the team are smarter but it's never made clear they're getting secret help."

Methinks someone from NOTW may have been reading Martin's blog.

Looks like :money: has let the cat out of the bag and the "not-so super secret, secret" was actually a "super-secret, secret".
They could have at least mentioned you by name, Martin, or even put the article on the same page as your column as a subtle reference.
