    Hi
    I am new to this thread and I am confused:rolleyes: :D I have no chance of reading the 2000 posts that are already there so I wonder if someone can clarify a few things for me, what the hell is a pooey?? I also want to buy some no7 cream and serum are there any ways of getting discounts on these? I very rarely use the machine in boots that gives you vouchers?? should I be?? I have about 2467 points on my card?:confused: anyone point me in the right direction?? Thanks:D

    Don't think SAs paid that close attention, probably thought it was change from money I put in.

    The till registered

    - the peel as costing £9.05 (after 50% off coupon for lucky Londoners);
    - line lift 0.00;
    - then the £10.50 for the Highlighter came off although it had already gone through as free as part of 342.
    - so £9.05 minus £10.50 = -£1.45

    Could have something to do with recognising the peel cost but only linking the 10.50 to the highlighter? Pure conjecture. No idea why the £2 pooey came out as receipt clearly shows change to customer.

    What is interesting is the box at the bottom which says:

    Total savings today £43.25.
    Including £13.20 Link-Save and £9.05 Kiosk Save Coupon.

    It didn't count the highlighter as a "save."

    So if normal price is:

    Peel 18.10
    Line lift 13.20
    Highlighter 10.50

    total is 41.80

    Go figure!!

    Thanks 4 the explanation NT... This is what I think the till is registering:

    Saved s/have been £41.80 but till showing £43.25 which is £41.80 + £1.45 (the refund u rec'd) which equals to £43.25, so B's till add n e refund to the savings amount?:confused:

    Also when u rec'd the £2 voucher (sorry, am not very keen on its name given @ present :o ) this might b coz B's tills give the voucher when refund is due (?) or when the till applies the voucher onto a nil priced item (Highlight voucher which came to -£10.50)... Confused u lot?! :p Me too!!!:rotfl:

    NT, as ur OH said, if only Mr B sold real estate, lol!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Hi and welcome, don't worry it will all make sense soon!
    A pooey is the nick-name we've given to the £2 off voucher (boujois/Max Factor/L'oreal paris/revlon cosmetics), so called, because we were a bit dissapointed with it and thought it a bit carp! You get it along with your receipt when you spend £5 or more in store.
    No.7 is on 342 at the moment, so a good time if you need something.
    I use the machine in boots at least once in every boots trip! if there are 2 in store I visit both, you never know what vouchers you will get, they vary from store to store and machine to machine.
    I think your 1st stop should be the boots machine to see if you are getting any No.7 vouchers - there are 3 possible ones around at the moment. If you look back a few pages you will see everyones' lists, trying various combos of these vouchers for very little spend. (see nine tails above for a very good example)
    Then come back here and see what combinations are possible. If you give a list someone will be able to give you the best way to do it. And take careful note of the order the vouchers are used in, it can make all the difference!
    Also if you are buying a lot, and with N0.7 serums and creams you might be spending quite a bit, get a total spend points voucher from the machine. So usually, 250 wys £25 or 350 points wys £30.
    Also read the first 2 posts of the thread cpg has put a lot of info up there that is very useful. Anything else, ask here, everyone loves to help and they are real :A
