Thanks for the info Jtz. :)
I did pick up one of the R&M loose Eye Liner Brushes @ £5.50p but it did not have a barcode on it, so I put it back. :o
I will try these next time I am in a larger store.....The Mascara Brush was even cheaper as was the Smudge Brush.:)

the mascara brush is currently £4.xx but i remember buying it for £3.xx last time the mailings were around!!! mr B is catching up quick! i'm thinking of combining 2 r&m 500 point vouchers-mums and mine on 1 product-what do you think? would it work? rather than buying 2 brushes and paying £8!!

I know shops are having problems, due to the reccession... but MR.B must be doing really bad, cos he's giving away 200,000 x 1,000 points = £2 million worth of Boots products.. I know he hasn't paid all that much in stock + I also know that not every one of the 200,000 winners will actually collect their prize .. I do know that it's also to get more people into the shop, but it shows how bad Boots is being affected by it.

i think you're right...knowing mr B, he'll probably give the points to the 200,000 people who use their card the least/never use their card so wouldnt even know! not good for us keen bootsers for our very comitted bootsing attitude!

If you use the 2 x 500 pointers + buy 2 R&M items (the cheapest combo of course)
you can pick up a free cosmetics bag at the moment. :)
It can be any colour, not just the colour shown on line.
A nice gift with the brushes and bag for someone and points for you.:)
I think the Mascara Brush is £4.00 ish, so try either Brush x 1 and 2 x 500 points,
Total points 1000 / total spend £4.00.....very nice too if it works.;)
Or 2 items for £8xx ish, with the 2 x 500 points and then get the free bag.
As long as the barcodes on the vouchers are different they should be ok.
Either way its win - win for you.
I only have the one voucher, so can't try it out, but might ask my SIL if she has one too.;)

If the vouchers have the same barcode I'm afraid u won't b able 2 use them on the same product... however, if u have 2 different barcode coupons (and they scan on brushes) then, SA willing, u'll b able 2 use them 2gether...HTH ;)

Just noticed JT beat me to it, lol! :o

    Hellooo peeps

This is my first time!I've been reading about all your adventures for a few weeks and have decided to take the plunge.

I got the No7 highlighter and line vouchers from the acm yesterday and wanted to get them both with the 342 offer on No7.I got three Awakening Eyegels(spending £15.60 after the 342) and the highlighter and line thingy and passed them to the No7 SA.
She said straight away that I couldn't do it.I explained that the two freebies had no restrictions showing on the vouchers on the vouchers. She said I could only get the Highlighter if I bought one product because it's not plural on the voucher, and that I couldn't get the highligter because you can't get the 342 using any reduced items.I pointed out that the reduced items it referred to were the ones included in the 342 not a free item.I think she just didn't want to do it because she needed to walk to the other side of the store to get a key from someone to do something on the till.

My question is:is she right, should I not have been able to do what I did?
Felt really guilty afterwards as if I'd done something I shouldn't but reading all these posts about who has done what and how, gave me the confidence to stick to my guns.

    Grateful for your advice folks.
    Bullsfacey:hello:
