They still have some of the Spring eyeshadow palettes and lip tints in the Maidstone, Fremlin Walk branch, on a small display opposite the main No7 cosmetics shelves.

The machine in there gave me the Line Lift and Peel vouchers. No High Lights voucher, though, as I had and used that last week. I would have kept it until now if it wasn't for the fact that they only had a couple of High Lights powders in stock at the time, and I didn't want to miss out.

Yesterday, I picked up the Peel and the Line Lift, and No7 Total Renewal Microdermabrasion exfoliator (which I really like), the Spring eye palette and 2 lip tints, and a Bourjois nail file.

First I handed over a 250 point No7 voucher, which worked fine. Then I handed over the Line Lift voucher, which refused to go through, even though both the SA and the SA at the next till agreed it should have worked. They fiddled about, and over-rode it. The 1/2 price Peel voucher went through without beeping, followed successfully by the £2 'pooey' for the Bourjois.

If I hadn't been in such a rush to get home to collect my daughter from school, I'd have checked the receipt before I left the store. On checking it now, I see that what they actually did was over-ride the price of the Line Lift to £0.00, which made it the free item in the second 3 for 2. Had I realised this, I could have got another No7 item free.

Why don't they print vouchers that actually work as they should?

In the Chequers Centre branch, they have signs on the front edge of the No7 shelf, saying that ALL Stay Perfect lip lacquers and ALL Stay Perfect lipsticks are now half price. It seems odd, then, that when I went to buy some a couple of days ago, some colours were half price and others weren't.

On the Pooey it says for 'L'Oreal Paris' so guess thats why the makeup remover wouldn't work cos its not part of the Paris range HTH
  • Been to Southport this morning and got the Sanctuary green sento gift set that I saw reduced to £3.50 in Lancaster for £2.44, also got a huge tub of meditteranean body scrub down to £1.84, pair of tights for £1.25 with 100 points back, 24hr roll on for 69p with 50 points back ( thought this was reduced but obviously not;) )and got a pooey. spent £6.22 but got 166 points back so quite happy - no No7 vouchers for me, also tried my sisters card and OH's - neither had any:o

    :wave:Hiya!

I've not been on for a while - mainly because I was sulking about not getting a highlights voucher :( :rotfl:

Anyway, my Mum has decided to draw on my Bootsing knowledge (which is v.basic still) and has asked me to come up with hamper for her friend who is expecting twins soon. I'm torn between a straight hamper and a nappy cake idea.

I was just wondering if anyone had any tips or bargains that are to be had in the Boots baby department.

    Many thanks :D

    HTH

I've been getting boots 24hr roll on deo 50 points acm vouchers so will have to try this with these.

I have a glyco peel and line lift voucher but was humiliated yesterday and am unsure how to use them. Yesterday n07 SA told me to take a 4th item (a moisturiser) as well as the bathing hand wash I'd picked up but when I went to another till to pay nothing seemed to work. SA said I couldn't use line lift 'cause I hadn't spent enough on facial care and I ended up leaving it all.

Just back ... 24hr deo is 69p in "my" boots so 19p to pay in boots math.
