I am neither. That comment was meant as a bit of fun. I have returned the goods and am pleased to have done so.
The next time I want to be insulted I'll ask for advice on here.

Hi fatboy you are well within your rights to report any abuse directed at you,you asked a perfectly reasonable question. Some posters on here are just pure ignorant, and wouldnt know courtesy if it slapped them in the face.0 -

I think this section naturally attracts a more stroppy type of person. Most posts attract some abuse and wise people just bung the perpetrators on ignore and forget about them.
I wouldn't decribe them as 'ignorant' though - some of the most obnoxious people are quite knowledgable about many subjects.0 -
Come on Fatboy, spill the beans and tell us what the goods were.
The suspense is killing me!Never skimp on Shoes,Tea bags and fishing tackle!0 -

brilliant. you wanted someone to say your rights are to keep all the stuff. that hasnt happened. now youve gone in a huff about it.
You have been given all the advice you need.
and can the pathetic woman who keeps sending me PMs with her illiterate attempt at insulting me stop as im not interested in her.0 -
The goods were 2gb memory cards.
The advice I took came from a solicitor friend of mine. I also am to receive a goodwill gesture from the seller, and for the record I recently went to great lengths to return £20 that I saw someone drop in the village where I live.
And no I won't bother asking for advice on here again.
Fatboy, who by the way is not so fat or boyish!0 -
Hooray! Right on cue!
Where did the OP say they'd been asked for payment? What you've quoted is intended to stop scam-artists intentionally sending you stuff and demanding payment. It's not a finders-keepers law! This was clearly a mistake.
!!!!!! didn't realise that when I nicked it. It was the reply to someone who had a load of oil wrongly delivered.
bluenose1988, that part was only if before November 2000.The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.0 -
