Right thing has been done! Not feeling warm and fuzzy inside though! Collecting tomorrow after I receive written confirmation that I will not be out of pocket and that they have adequate insurance if the goods go missing so that I am not liable.

I do have a conscience its just that I didn't want to give up what could have been the biggest present someone has ever given to me £36,000 at retail prices!

Ah well life weaves its merry way.....

They are sending me an 8mb memory stick as a gesture of goodwill. That warm feeling is starting!

I knew honesty was always the best course of action but you do have to ponder on these things don't you!

I think a present is when somebody deliberately provides a gift to someone else.

So the 8mb memory stick constitutes a present

i would get sender to arrange (and pay for!) another courier to pick up.

Although, the goods are addressed to you, andpssession is 9/10 of the law.. could you live with yourself?

imagine you were the intended customer, frantic for the goods..

I'm surprised no-one's posted yet to try and tell you they're unsolicited goods and you can keep them!

Still £15,000 is a lot, and could count as loss for the company. Its there goods and they should have them back. So i dont think the law would favor on there side lol.

Also you should just use your plain common sense! Always do the right thing!:T

Please tell me you're not sorting that out - it's upto the seller to sort out, so why on earth would you have to worry about the goods going missing and why would you be out of pocket???
