I dont see how my employer can do this to us!

Just came back from my meeting. It seemed pretty positive. Looks like we **may** be taken over next week, on a 3 month trial and have our jobs back.

We are getting our redundancy packs in the post, so i should recieve that tomorrow or monday. We have been advised to fill these in and send them off even if the other company takes us over.

Its a shame it has come to this, becuase it was a great place to work. You could always have a laugh and a joke.

and Yes Studentmidwife, I do work with Angie but she works in a different department to me. - small world eh!

Thats good news Matt (better than it was anyway!) and yes it is a small world . Angie starts her qualifying week next week for maternity pay so if she is made redundant after Sunday they will have to pay her that as well as her redundancy I think.

Thats good then. Its just a shame little apuro has to suffer becuause of the other 2 companies!

As Angie will tell you, its a great place to work for with some great staff. I dont think you can get any more laid back management!

Maybe the "laid back management" were part of the problem.
