Hi there,
Like many of you, I have been suffering appauling service with my current broadband provider.
I reached the end of my tether last week. Which is why I have put together a Web site to allow customers to collectively make their story known:
http://www.broad-bandits.com
I am digging into my own pockets to host this site, but I am convinced that collective action will help to improve the service levels we are experiencing.
Once there are sufficient complaints, I will be forwarding a petition to several different bodies.
Please help support the cause by browsing to
http://www.broad-bandits.com and add your own story. I'd be grateful if you could pass this link.
Note that all postings contained are genuine, and are an impartial representation of public opinion. This Web site is not affiliated with any organisation and is not run for profit in any way.
Thanks again

I've seen your site posted over at adslguide (I keep up with the forums there every day). I think your site is a cracking idea.
I'm with Zen, so I don't have anything to complain about as far as ISPs go.
You need to really contact the site team to get permission to post your own site. They have a STRICT no advertising rule on this site. There are no adverts on this site at all. In return, members aren't allowed to advertise their own site on these boards.
If you contact the team at [Removed by Forum Team] they are the only ones that can grant you permission to post the link to your site.
This is what the rules of the site say...............
ADVERTISING
This site is free from advertising. Posts on any board considered to be advertising goods, services and/or companies will be removed.
Examples of this can include anything from a specific sales post or a link to your own website in which you attempt to sell something to someone offering their holiday home to forum members. Unfortunately we cannot allow any advertising of any description no matter how honourable the intention.
If you think you have a genuinely good deal please contact a Board Guide for the board you’d like to post it on. If they agree with you they’ll contact the MSE Team and it will be considered. Any final decision will be that of the MSE Team. Please do not question the response with the Board Guide. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Thanks for this information.
I am currently following your advice. Hopefully this link can remain since it is for no commercial gain.
...Fingers crossed, I'm sure many readers here will be pleased to see a concerted effort taking place.

As Rex stated advertising your own web site is against the rules, no matter how honorable the intention is.0

In this case, fandangos has been given permission so the thread is OK to remain.
Many Thanks

Thanks for letting the post remain. The numbers are clocking up, and I'm looking forward to taking collective action in the future.
Keep the traffic flowing...
All the best
