So one of my housemates is stealing my milk like every day. I have said numerous times to "buy your own" but it never happens. I have been looking for some kind of locking flask to put in the fridge so he cant get to it but so far I have found nothing. Has anyone got any ideas???? Thanks, M.

put something horrible in the milk"Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0

Or the yellow stuff;)0

If you have a lock on your bedroom, consider buying one of those teeny little trendy mini-fridges - think they're less than a tenner now. My mum is 78 and has one in her living room so she doesn't have to walk all the way to the kitchen when she wants a cuppa.......
Put it in your room, put your milk into it, and lock the bedroom door. Then watch his face when he next goes to make coffee and there isn't a ready supply of free white stuff. Less expensive than being sued for intentional poisoning...... lol0 -
A drop of green food colouring in the milk should make it less appealing.0

Buy another milk and leave it a couple of weeks before you put it in the fridge. I doubt he will steal it again!0

I like the dying it one, blue food is the one people find most unappealing.
Remember when green ketchup came in and it wasn't a big hit even though it tasted exactly the same as red.
Using dried milk for a time is an option, just mix up as much as you need and keep the powder in your room.
It doesn't taste quite the same on cold cereal, but is ok in tea and coffee and on hot cereals.0 -
in my uni days, a fair few dashes of tabasco sauce did the trick!!
my milk was never stolen again!:think:0 -
If you have any mates in the pub trade, Get hold of a single drop of pump cleaning fluid, not any more as you could do them serious harm, but a drop will have the desired effect usually in around 10-15mins and leave no lasting harm.0

Adulterating the milk in some way seems to be good idea. The idea of p**ing in the bottle should put him off, I would have thought. Alternatively, how about nicking some of his stuff, see how he likes it. The problem with taking his stuff, is that it can tend to escalate.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
