Hello! pad of 51p for me to the TTCF jar. It's empty now as I went into town today to drop it into the coin thing at HSBC - I had £74.68 in there! :T The concert isn't till June so I have plenty more time to save up some more spending money! We are going to the concert at old trafford on Friday night and then staying over in Manchester on the Saturday so am expecting a messy one - we've never been out in Manchester before so if anyone knows of a good place for two ladies to go to on a saturday night then do post your advice!
I'm really skint now though - my trip into town culmunated in a trip to Boots to buy a few bits, which turned into £15 quids worth of stuff - at least it's all sorted now for a while! Roll on payday on Tuesday!
Well done everyone on the massive total for yesterday!

Think it's been a dose of bad luck this week as to top it off I was completely toasted by the MD today - I was shaking like a leaf and nearly cried God how pathetic am I!? :rotfl: Got a night out in Manchester tomorrow night with an old Uni friend so a big middle finger to this week and a few drinkies! :rotfl: All going okio in the Hopeful household?
xx
Very sorry to hear that you are having a sh*te time at work at the moment ..... I have got a suitable smiley for your MD , but i won't add it on here today ..... i will put it on here on the " soiree " if you are around ..... that way it should " blend " in with the other posts !....

Did you had a lovely night out with your friend to help make up for your horrible week ?....

Danko - how did the day go? Hope it was easier than yesterday. I'm also hoping that by some miracle your boss might feel uncomfortable after the way he spoke to you and remembered a bit of the training around people management  Thought this sign might come in useful for himLOVE the signage Hopeful! :rotfl: I can think of something fair worse but I don't want to get kicked off the boards for bad language! :rotfl: Luckily Friday's are POET days (and we all love them so!) so managed to avoid as much as I could though a couple of phone conversations and no mention of the events the day before. The man is a tool and will never learn *raged weetabix* I found out that other members of the management team were fished off too so guess I ain't the only one and I ain't even a manager! Counting down for the 21st August!
Hope you have a lovely weekend Hopeful and thank you for thinking of me

I could tell you some fab places to go for rock stuff but I know that ain't everyone's cup of tea! :rotfl: The Northern Quarter is jammed full of 'boutique' crazed bars and always a good night for drinkies. A couple of great bars along Oxford Road: Font Bar, Kro 2 and then on into Piccadilly Gardens there are a few dotted about. There's always Canal Street if you fancy some entertainment too! Hope you have a fab time though!
