    Evening all

Well today we spent rather longer in Danko land than we intended. Set out promptly this morning to pick up OH's car from the garage in Northwich on the way home just get on to the M56 and it overheated steam all over the place. I did wonder why I had lost him in my mirror kept driving slower and slower until eventually he phoned me and I had to turn back. Garage came and trailered it back turned out it was just a split hose so we set off again and this time all was well. Typical nothing ever goes smoothly when my OH picks up a new car the kids should have been in school this afternoon but we were too late getting back. He was a bit fed up when it happened but is all smiles again now. The insurance was cheaper with my name on so I might even get to drive it - what an asset I am.

No PAD for me although I notice that the car payment has not gone out of the bank account yet perhaps I could claw it back and use it for debts instead:D Scary that you can put your plastic in and pay all that amount and nobody queries it the other end:confused: I thought at least we would have to answer some security questions.

Danko I need to see the purple hair!

Danko land?? :rotfl: You should have popped in for a brew DT! :D Nightmare about the car situation though - everything okio now? There's a nice pub called The Stretton Fox on that M56/Northwich(ish) way junction... :D

I know - I should really get a photie sorted! I'll see if OH can take some photies for me to get the full spectrum of colour in shot! ;)

Well done everyone with the continued debt busting.

I was umming and ahhing about PaDing today, just in case i needed the money for anything, then decided that i didnt NEED to spend on ANYTHING til payday, and how disappointed i'd be if i didnt PaD. Definitely ADDICTED. :T

Hugs to anyone that needs them - job losses, bad days at work, generally feeling rubbishy.

Can I join this thread? I have been an avid follower for a while, and my PADs would be to my savings account, does that matter? I think it'll give me more of an incentive, even if it is only a £1 a day!

    Hi slowlyfading hellowave.gif ...

    Welcome to the madhouse !

Good luck with your paymant a day either small or large it's surprising how quickly it all adds up . A few people on here use their PADs to build up their savings , unfortunately the majority of us use them towards our debts ...

Everybody is really great on here which really helps to keep you motivated ..

Oooooooooooh another dieter ! If you fancy joining our PAD diet challenge , we weigh in on a thursday .... you don't have to tell us your start weight ( unless you want to ! ;) ) , just how much you lose or gain each week ... A couple of us put our " food diaries " on here , but you don't have to if you don't want to ...

Its the blue one just like your piccie. Not driven it yet.

But of a do tonight DH took my mom out to look at the car and she collapsed and was complaining of chest pains went all weak she has had 2 heart attacks 3 years ago so I was very worried about her she is 93 the ambulance came and did some tests thankfully it appears to have been low blood pressure not her heart and she is feeling better now just have to get the doc in to see her in the morning to check her tablets. So that panic appears to be over.

    Night night all.

Very sorry to hear about your mum HShugs2.gif..... but am really glad that she's feeling better now ....
She obviously got " over excited " at the prospect of a spin with hubby in his new set of wheels ! ;) ...
Hopefully the doctor will put your " mind at rest " in the morning ....

    Good evening

Late post for me while it is still today ...... not that I have an addiction... but I have not made a pad today yet and I am getting stressed !!!!!!

Pad of £5 to NW loan. Loan going down ......

Tomorrow it is DS's pay day ..... waiting for my cut !

DD also gets paid tomorrow and she owes me !

AND .... a few weeks ago flight to Teesside was cancelled by airline ... DD complained on our behalf (me and dad) and she got sent a cheque for £50 compensation in my dad's name, so another £25 coming my way :j DD insists we use £10 each for a sunday lunch out but the rest I will use as a pad.

Strange how things happen in 3's. No payments for ages then three come along together. not complaining tho. Make that 4...... did friend's garden and looking after cat for the week and she has gifted me £20.

AND ... been doing surveys and my total now is £5.50. A long way to go to £50 but getting there.

Off to get some beauty sleep now ... I need it !

Forgot to say welcome to newbies.
