Hi all, cheque finally cleared so my pad is £20.50 today. My Barclaycard should be under £400 now. :j

Working later for a whole three hours, hate trailing all the way in for a pathetic shift like that! Doing a 10 hour shift tomorrow then I've got a week off! Better use most of it job hunting though.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.

Last night was a bit strange the show was great really enjoyed it and as we were his guests we had great seats and drinks and nibbles with him and his family and friends afterwards. He has even worked in Uganda and has twins so we had plenty to talk about and he is really nice - but he is 61 now and sometimes I think it is probably better not to revisit teenage fancies - my OH is relieved I wasn't all gaga :rotfl:and so I am I to be honest. Who was it? I'll give you a clue "Hold Me Close" I am sure you know who I mean don't want to mention him by name.

Back to the real world £7to the pay off HSBC by October fund.

    Blo*dy hell DT ! .... I know who you mean ! :T ...

I saw him at the Hammersmith Odeon , donkeys years ago ! ...

Do you always " mingle " with the stars or did you meet him through the charity ?

Was he just like you had imagined him to be ? ...

I bet Greenbynature knows straight away who it is !

It will be the " young 'ens " on here that will " google " the song title ! :rotfl: ...

Great to hear that you had a really nice evening ... Lucky you ! ...

    I knew you would know.

No I am not a star mingler but we know someone whose daughter is quite close to him and OH did a favour for him - not allowed to say more and this was to say thankyou. He was lovely but as my OH said he looks his age my OH is a year younger but looks a lot younger. I was really excited to meet him and I knew that he had lost his hair but he looks so different the eyes are still good though. In the loo I heard people saying that they were going to see David Cassidy as well soon, he was on my wall too. There were lots of swooning women in the audience making suggestive comments so he obviously hasn't lost it for them. His singing was great and he was good at making fun of himself but I miss the hair:o
