Got to fettle the house as my dd is having 7 lovely frineds coming over tomoz for her 9th birthday  Fortunately, we are taking them to see Hannah Montana then going to Pizza Express. I have printed off the 2 for 1 vouchers in true MSE style
OK, done my transfer - the big one of the week, £500 to VAT

Ah Andy you were one of the WB kids then lol. How weird though you're right it is a small world!!
Not a very good day for me moneywise, I am going to a party tonight and went into town to get a top to go with a skirt I already have... ended up buying a dress that i found in the sale, but of course I had to buy a cardi to go with it, and then shoes to go with that, and then a new bra to go under it... came to £45 altogether which isn't too bad I suppose, but not considering I wanted to spent about 15! Still, it's summery enough to wear to the couple of weddings I'm going to this year (different people so same outfit will do)
I am determined to go ultra frugal now for the rest of this month. I have plenty of food in the freezer so all I will need is milk/bread type stuff for food, then I'll do my pad's and that'll be it.
Talking of pads, todays is £1.07 from me. I tipped my moneybox out into the machine in HSBC because it was full and came out with 24quid, but I think I will leave that in there instead of padding it and use it to offset part of my shopping spree!!
Have a good saturday everyone!
xxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -

Hi Gang
I am back from sunny Uganda.
The bad news is that my luggage isn't:mad:
Not sure whether it is in Entebbe, Amsterdam or Liverpool or anywhere else they have decided to send it. I flew into Manchester so go figure.
So I am using my daughter's boyfriends laptop because although I have my laptop I don't have the mains adaptor and I have no battery left and no knickers!!!!!!!!!!!! or my malaria tablets which is a bit more serious.
Had a great time in Uganda and lots of adventures and met some great kids and some lovely people but I am really tired off to pick up my little baby from the relief foster carers in a minute so couldn't resist signing in and checking you guys out. I will go and have a quick read.whilst I wait to set off and see what you have been up to.
Flying Freisan there are some great cows for sale in Amsterdam airport best I have ever seen.
Fag Ash Lil just to let you know no car red or blue in the drive and I have been home an hour and it has not been mentioned yet.............
It's so great to be back. I must get to grips with some serious debt busting.
