    Hi guys

:bdaycake: Happy Birthday for Today TWINKLES! :bdaycake:

I would say that the money you get for YOUR birthday should be spent on you!! I bet the person who gives it to you would not want it spend on your debts and would want you to treat yourself for once.

We scrimp and do without all year, its your special day today so enjoy it!!

My PAD yesterday was £3 to GE Loan, and we will see what i have left at the end of today to get an idea of what I can put away.

I started my healthy eating kick today - gonna follow the slimming world plan again so we will see what next week brings!

Have a great day everyone. :)

At the end of the tax year, the Tax Office sent an inspector to audit the books of a synagogue.

While he was checking the books he turned to the Rabbi and said: "I notice you buy a lot of candles. What do you do with the candle drippings?

"Good question", noted the Rabbi. "We save them up and send them back to the candle makers, and every now and then they send us a free box of candles."

"Oh", replied the auditor, somewhat disappointed that his unusual question had a practical answer. But on he went, in his obnoxious way:

"What about all these biscuit purchases? What do you do with the crumbs?"

"Ah, yes", replied the Rabbi, realising that the inspector was trying to trap him with an unanswerable question. "We collect them and send them back to the manufacturers, and every now and then they send a free box of holy biscuits."

"I see!" replied the auditor, thinking hard about how he could fluster the know-it-all Rabbi. "Well, Rabbi", he went on, "What do you do with all the leftover fore skins from the circumcisions you perform?

"Here, too, we do not waste", answered the Rabbi. "What we do is save up all the fore skins and send them to the Tax Office, and about once a year they send us a complete !!!!!!."

    Hello all :hello:

I missed yesterday as was at the Marathon (watching not running!). Great day out and nice and sunny. I was so tired when I got in last night, but did make a PAD, just no energy to come in to the boards and catch up.

Welcome to newbies, and congrats to all those hitting debt milestones and birthday milestones !! :T

DD day today so posting up a biggie ....

PAD for Sunday £40 to Cap 1
PAD for Monday £65.91 to Cap1
    Cap 1 DD £131.48
    HSBC evil loan £319.28

    TOTAL £556.57

So Cap1 took a direct debit amount anyway, even though the extra payments I made were well over AND their online system was saying they were not going to take one. Grrr. I was going to pay it as a PAD anyway, but they do annoy me. Good job I'm watching them like a hawk...that could have hurt the cash flow.

Morning all, hope everyone is well.

I had a fantastic weekend meeting up with my friends, spent too much though, but not feeling too bad as I live over 500miles away from them now and don't get to see them that often, will just need to eat out of the store cuboards until payday!!

But the good news is the first lot of expenses owed to me finally came in today - still waiting on teh rest mind! but that meant a payment of £45.73 to halicrap and £150 into ISA :) total PAD £195.73 :)
