I tried to buy t'other half an Easter Egg the other day and his exact words were "Wait till next week pet they'll be cheaper after Easter".

    I'm so proud!!

(We're going on a full-scale Asda assault though after Easter. I want CHOCOLATE EGGS!!

    :EasterBun
i love this for two reasons:

    1. he called you pet! even if you hadn't just revealed he was a geordie, this may have given it away. so cute!

    2. he has clearly been converted to MSE ways. i confess i have bought an egg for me and one for DH as well (i make the kids easter baskets - no eggs, books and little treats) but they were only a pound in asda. they keep changing the prices - sometimes they're 3 for 4 pounds, but nabbed some last week when they were cheaper...

  • Extra £2 this afternoon. I paid for some of mum's shopping and she gave me cash so the £2 coin has gone into my cadbury's mini egg tube.
