day 33, brother-in-law came for lunch bringing crunchy fresh white baguette and cream eclairs...... and yes! I FAILED!! and gave in completely to both (as well as the healthy salads and meat that I had prepared)

My only plea for mitigation is that there had been no carbs in my house for 33 days and I am a known addict, mea culpa.

Can I go on the has beens thread. Seriously though, how bad will this set me back - bearing in mind that I've only lost a total of 3 lb in the month that I've been low carbing.

awww its ok as long as you dont give up completely on the plan. just get right back on it when you can. :) we are all weak sometimes, cant help ourselves.

Discovered that raspberries are only 4grms per 100grms so had a bowlful with cream - they were so lovely! Tart and sweet at the same time - NO comments please, :p

just curious when you girls eat nuts do you limit how many you have? likedo you count them out? i think i had about 15 walnuts before and not sure how many carbs that is.

nevermind, i just estimated it being 50g even though im sure its not that much and it works out to be 6.9g carb.

Don't like walnuts, always [STRIKE]used to [/STRIKE] take the walnut off when eating a walnut whip

I sometimes have brazil nuts but would only have 4 or 5 per day. Haven't had salted peanuts for a while (the KP salt & vinegar ones are lush, btw) but would eat a quarter of a bag of them.

I know mazzers uses them & orders from www.lowcarbmegastore.com I've thought about ordering them before but just not got around to it. Loads of different flavours to choose from.

Serena, your little blip may be ok, try not to worry, it might even give you a metabolic boost  Ahem.. thats what i always tell myself anyway.
I have only just had a week of carb guzzling tho and only gained 1lb, so forget about it.

Davinci syrups, lowcarbmegastor, about £7-£8, big bottle, good value, very sweet but.. the postage is expensive, so i got quite a few things.
I must admit, i dont use them very often.

The cherry one is lush, caramel is very after-tastey. yuk
Lime is nice too, have read that the egg nog is lovely, all down to personal taste tho.

Gers, my fave lc dessert is defrosted frozen raspberries (soft, gooey and juicy) sprinkled with splenda, plop some sf raspberry jelly on top, and serve with a big dollop of cream.

Just had a bacon bap, a topic and a picnic :o
