Eek! I've been asked out on a date tonight but I'm sooooo not in the mood He seems nice enough - senior school art teacher - I just don't feel up for it at all

Oooh, lucky you! Not sure about the art teacher bit tho. Mine had bad breath. Hope its not a requirement for the job!!:p

OK, fine - I've texted him and we're meeting for a drink in a couple of hours (enough time for a lovely bath etc).

So today's menu was:
- 2 Quorn sausages, 1 fried egg and lotsa mushrooms
- Mixed cheeses, packet of chilli peanuts
- Tofu-coconut "pudding"
- 2 squares of dark Lindt chocolate

I'm going to stay off the booze again tonight, a lovely cup of tea sounds like just the job...

Off to pretend to do some housework. We now have two nice blinds up in the kitchen and a rather frazzled husband. I'll be cooking something eggy to make up for the carb fest yesterday. I'm sure those carbs didn't count anyway coz i ate them quickly, they didn't even touch the sides.

I have been reading more & trying to get my head round this & yes, 2 weeks out of my life without sweets & chocolate & for the results i'd see, well its a no brainer really. i'm at docs friday morning to see nurse & get weighed- guessing around 16 st and then out at friends house on friday to have chinese so probs start saturday morning after been shopping! any suggestionsfor the future when having chinese? i'm guessing avoid the rice,noodles & chips!
