Are you watching the programme? Am sorry to say the 'secret' seems to be eating less and exercising more - just what we have feared all along
I am watching and it looks like you are right:rolleyes: Our worst fears have been realised. A fat camp may be my only hope:rolleyes: To be honest, if I had the money I would enrol in one right now. Would be so much easier if I could be prevented from the reaching yummy things, lost 2 stone and was presented with a box of M&S chocolate limes as a reward:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
Hi everyone, I was wondering if I could join you lovely ladies in the group?
I've been a lurker on the boards for quite some time now, but I've realised that now is the time to take action. Therefore, this evening I took the first step by cuting up my credit card- I want to cry now though lol
I've been following the thread for a few days now, and you all seem great- plus you lust after my weaknesses:
Shoes
Chocolate
Shoes
Chick Flicks
And more shoes!
Hope everyone's doing ok tonight.

Hi Natalie
I'm new aswell. I love shoes, but clothes are probably a bigger addiction for me. Having said that, I did buy a gorgeous pair of pewter pumps last week. They are beautiful and will see me through the summer on days I haven't been bothered to paint my toenails. Hmm, not great justification is it. Especially when they cost 40 quid. Love chocolate far too much and sadly don't watch enough chick flicks. Must work on that.
I can't believe you've cut up your credit card. That's so brave. I probably should do that, but I get scared (what if I need it?), despite the fact it's nearly up to the limit - eeek. I'm sure you'll do well.
GwenxThough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -
Btw, congrats on the job offer Pink! I was so pleased for you when I read that post!
I've been telling myself for months that I need to stop my crazy spending, but I haven't been doing it. Then tonight I realised that for the 2nd month in a row I'd gone over my credit limit (something I haven't done in about 2 years).
So I'm trying to make new rules for myself- the first one being that I'm not allowed to buy any DVDs. They're well known as one of my downfalls, but I have soooo many that I really shouldn't need to buy more! Therefore, I will watch old ones I haven't seen for ages, and only get new ones with DooYoo points!

Hello my F fabulous friends,
first of all congratulations :j to Pink Twirl on the new job
Welcome to Downnotout( new guy on the block) & spooney too
Never mind the size of the wardrobe, I need Gok in mine, that man is a legend
I've been quite rubbish on the diet today as had loads of work on so had to eat more than I would choose just to keep my strength up  I also had to do some top up grocery shopping bread, milk etc which all came to £5.99 & I gained another £2 coin in the process just need another 19 before the end of May & I'll have a free tax disc
I'm loving this weather & spent 2 hours in the garden filled 3 bags with weeds & brambles - nasty vicious spiteful things  & then took them to the tip so feeling very virtuous :A0 -

Would enrol in once of those 'boot camp' type things but I an allergic to any accommodation without solid walls (ie. tents) and any activity likely to break a nail (ie. pretty much anything at a 'boot camp')Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
