Is it a bit grim???? does she have a gastric band fitted???

I think I'm possibly 33st - it certainly feels like it after eating the half price white choc creme brulee easter egg I bought from Tescos yesterday.

It was the bit where the surgeon was cutting into the skin and pulling out the flesh. Also, the point at which the surgeon was eating tuna straight out of the can.

    Hello

Hope you don't mind me posting again. Sorted my house insurance. Got an alright quote I think with Halifax. Get 50 quid cashback. House insurance looks more expensive than it was last year though, when I renewed. Just need to remember to call Birmingham Midshires and tell them I'm not renewing.

Just looking at BBC about the deflation. Apparently, mortgage costs are going down (yay!), also vegetables (err, yay - if I'm eating healthily), but women's clothing is up (boo!!!). What's that about? Why just women's clothing? What about men's? Although I was looking for an outfit for my nephew the other day and childrens clothes seemed to be noticeabley more expensive than last year.

I haven't read the 'Daily Cashback thread yet, but I might find out what my inflation rate is.

Oh and PinkTwirl, don't worry about your Aunt. Just give yourself a very big pat on the back for getting your new job. You will do just fine.

    Gwenx

P.S. Am I missing something re: M&S chocolate limes?? I've never had them. I am a sucker for Percy Pigs though and the other day I noticed they have these fabulous new cakes and cupcakes in. I was practically drooling all over the boxes!
Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending

I need your advice please :D

I need a new mascara and the 'new, improved Shoe Gal' is no longer allowed to buy her usual YSL False Lash Effect

Anybody got any reccommendations from the more budgert brands? I have short, pale lashes and I always wear mascara so if defo counts as an 'essential'

    Thanks ladies :A

I'm currently using Lash 360 from Boots No. 7 and pretty happy with it, got it free off a magazine.

Mayebelline Great Lash is a good bet too. At the moment there is a £2 off voucher from Boots - you can use it towards Bourjois, L'Oreal, Max Factor. But you have to spend a fiver first to get the voucher.

I like Bourjois makeup stuff - the word is that they are the trial line for chanel, so I think they have really good quality stuff.
I've got a spare voucher going so let me know if you want me to post it onto you.
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

Thanks, I got a voucher the other day so I was hoping to use it :D

Interesting about Bourjois, I hadn't heard that. I use a couple of Chanel products that I will have to replace with 'cheaper' brands when they run out so it's good to know :A

I had wondered about that one as it has the same 'name' as my usual one :D

    PS - before you all think I'm a terrible brand snob :o I swear by Collection 2000 Plasticque lipgloss @ £1.99 !!!

Well don't know how true it is but I do like Bourjois and some of the items have a similarity.

I like No. 17. It has a good range and is good value and I think there is good quality. I love the colour range.

I go and do some work for a bit and there's an inFlux of Fabulousness about the place. ;)

Pink Twirl - Congratulations! That must be such a relief. I am sure you are absolutely shattered at the moment with the stress, but don't let anyone rain on your parade. As makeup said, most of the time, most people are mostly ok, and you can always vent on here about those who are not.

Shoe Gal - As another member of the pale and short lashes club, I'm with the Boots Lash 360 or the Maybelline Great Lash. Good call about the Bourjois, makeup; I love their eye shadow, although I seem to mostly have abandoned anything except mascara and lip gloss at the moment. Just seen the Max Factor one to try as well - thanks Fee Fee.

I can see I shall have to pop into M&S for some of those chocolate limes, and to check whether you are all safe to buy some of those new cupcakes. *Which will of course, be disgusting, so that no one is tempted.* :p One of my vices is M&S fresh limeade, which is full of little pieces of peel, so I can convince myself it's healthy despite its sugar content. ;)
