Hi, I'm here too, have been spending again:o:D. Just spent £50 on a grocery shop, it should last a couple of weeks and included 6 bottles of wine so not too bad. Also ordered another skirt and a top in the sale from Boden, was £60 with discount of 10% plus used a cashback website for 5% off, they are not on quidco but managed to find another site.
The clothes I ordered at the weekend have arrived and are very nice so I shall be keeping those, 3 tops for £127, reduced with code to £100.
I went shopping yesterday, didn't buy anything but saw some nice things in M&S which I will order shortly, just need to find a code, that should be most of my clothes shopping done, only around £300 ish:o.
Today's list:- coins in piggy
- 3x £2 coin in pot
- read papers online
- rang work for overtime
- free delivery on grocery shop and lots of bogofs
- tidied room
- checked quidco and pigsback

Hello all,
sorry to spoil the alcohol & shopping mood but I am on NSD 8 (3rd in a row) & drinking peppermint tea. Yes, I will be taking my temperature in just a minute.
Happy New Clothes sarah :j now get thyself over to the clothes challenge & confess all pleaseyou are a very bad example & yes that is the envy talking :rotfl:.
I've had a hideously busy week & am going to round it off nicely with an early morning airport collection trip tomorrow .
I put all my summer clothes away today & have measured myself all over, Need to lose many many inches in order to wear winter clothes. I REFUSE to buy nasty cheap stuff as I did last year ... I've since chucked them all out so now have to lose the weight or risk hypothermia.

I know. I have been lurking a bit and reading your diary. Sounds a bit like my job - lol! Very frustrating! Hopefully things might calm down for me in a couple of weeks time, but we'll see. Hope your meeting goes well with your boss. You seem to be having a better week this week though?

Hi Shoe Gal
No, if it's that bad, you need to talk to your boss about it. I've been in a similar situation before and tried to carry on, then there was illness in the family and a few other things and I thought I was cracking up. Ended up on sleeping tablets temporarily. It wasn't fun and it's taken me quite a while to get myself into a better place. Nip it in the bud! Most people don't mind the odd bit of overtime here and there, but if it's constant and there is no end in sight, it's not sustainable and will make you unhappy. Good luck with the boss chat. Do you think he/she will be understanding?
Sarah - During my lurking I noticed you like Autumn/Winter clothes shopping - totally agree! There is sooo much nice stuff around!! All in lovely colours, purple, navy blue, pink and teal. I'm buying a few things, but I'm quite worried I might get carried away...
Lula Hula - Did I read that correctly? NSD 8?? Bl00dy hell, well done! That's fab!

Shoe Gal,
dont be... be very very :j:D , I just didnt want to spoil an NSD ... make no mistake there will be Pink Elephants rampaging through my house tomorrow night :rotfl:
I have absolutely no plans at all for the week end & I love it. Think I might make start on sanding down the chest of drawers or bed, ready to paint them. Or I might just lie in the bed & think about it.0 -
