Quite interesting considering I'm averaging £125 in cash out each month and I couldn't really say what that went on.
And I'm spending £250 a month on food which is a mixture of supermarket spending and eating out....although that also includes cash back at the supermarket and who knows what that cash is spent on! Although the supermarket shopping will also include clothes shopping that I regularly do alongside getting a loaf of bread or some milk!
Aargh - it's a bit depressing but also quite interesting!!!!!!
I think if you try just using cash for a fortnight you will be able to see where a lot of it is going. I also end up getting cashback so I can pretend it is part of the shopping and spend it on rubbish.
Using cash is quite annoying because you can't get all the little things you usually put in the trolley:o and also it stops you going in for a bar of chocolate and ending up with wine and a magazine as well because you actually have to take the cash out of your purse and it hurts:rolleyes:
I totally avoid the clothes section of supermarkets unless I am specifically looking for something as I always end up seeing something I just need, it is just too tempting.:oPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
Hahaha shoes! I have purchased:
one pair of black combat boots
one pair of black suit shoes
one pair of black running shoes
one pair of black and grey converse-type-things
one pair of black flip-flops
I have also been given by work:
one pair of black steel toed boots
one pair of black and 'claret' steel toed mining boots
one pair of black stell toed gum boots (wellies!)
Hmmm, what colour do you think my next purchase will be?The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha

I was thinking pink but I like your idea too...
I've totally scrubbed and cleaned my flat, got my farewell party, could be over 20 people rammed into my kitchen/living room and the balcony, could be interesting! The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. You just couldn't let it lie could you ?
Sorry fellas
FYI anyone who is reading this rather than shoe shopping:
I'm staying in tonight - was supposed to be going out but am knackered after a week of work, driving to London for a wedding, and getting up early to go and see a friend's baby. It was like a person but small, in case you were wondering.
Just been e-mailed a £50 free bet so will use that now, and then open one of my 24 bottles of M&S wine .0 -
Urgh I feel partied out. Had a really good night, some lovely looking ladies turned up and I enjoyed myself. A few people left early which really bummed me out as they were the ones I'd most wanted to see but meh.
Now I've just finished clearing the detritus so the real estate can bring some people round to view the flat...The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Hey TDQO sounds like a fab party.
I had a fun weekend, visited my sister and her family which was a lot of fun. The older niece is so much fun, we went to the park and fed the ducks and my new baby niece is just very cute indeed.
I also went to the Festival of Quilts - this was possibly a mistake but I was really inspired and fancied making a quilt. £60 later on various implements and fabrics........
The whole thing was very good, some amazing work on display which was fabulous and I did manage to buy some bits and bobs to start me off.
Stupidly I spent £18 on a beginners quilting book, not remembering that I have £50 of waterstones vouchers and I could have got the book through them.....
When I'm in the moment I don't really stop too much to think!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0
