I used to know someone who did that, but it was in a lab, not actually going to scenes of crime like on tv :)

So no move to Salford on the cards for you?? I know a lot of London based folks at a large publically funded broadcasting agent are in the process of losing work and facing a potential move north.

No not for me, although I think there are going to be lots of vacancies there in about 18 months so depending on what I'm doing then, I might be tempted to apply.

I know couples who have had to think long and hard about it as one person works in a department that's moving and the other doesn't - not easy. Should be quite an exciting place to work for the people who do end up there though.

I see the talk has turned back to shoes. All the men have disappeared!

Nice glass of rose on the go & enough of the MB talk, I want to talk about shoes & more specifically how many pairs I should take with me . DD reckons I have too many but I think I'm on rations :
2 pairs of heels ( one red of course ;)) one pair gladiator type, 1 pair smartish flats, 3 pairs leather flip flop sandal type , 1 pair rubber flipflop to get trashed on the beach & one pair rocket dogs for any walking that has to be endured.

I'm struggling with bags too, have narrowed it down to 3 but could really do with another ... hmmm duty free :D

9 pairs of shoes!! I thought I was bad. One time I took 26kg to Australia and brought back 40!:eek:

I agree with makeup, can you drop some of the leather flip flop sandals? I am glad that normal service has been resumed though and we are talking about shoes. I was missing it a bit :o

    what ?

It's a question of colour though ... I do like to be co-ordinated :D We're away for 10 days & flying with monarch & have 20kg allowance each ;). Am being really good with the clothes as I know I wont wear half of what I pack so thought I could stretch/change the outfits with different accessories ... I love my accessories

To be honest this could be quite cathartic as I did dismiss a lot of shoes knowing that they're not comfortable so there may well be some clearing out when I return :(

I think I would have been good at it too, I've def got a detecting kind of brain. They used to call me Miss Marple at my old job as if you needed something sorting out or unravelling, especially old things then I could do it.....

I think if I knew at 18 what I know now, I'd have tried to get in the Police.

I was planning on making mojitos tonight and even bought limes but we've got no ice!!!! Contemplating making them without ice....

    Hmm....

He, he! I took about 5 pairs with me when I went away for nearly three weeks last year and only ended up wearing about 2. Take black! Black goes with everything.

Something to do with head office put a block on them and they can't be sold.

Which is a load of old bo***ks as I've bought the very same things from another Tesco's for the same price and everything.

I love 'Love Hearts' and it was a pack with mini tubes in. Great for a quick sugar hit!!!

The tesco's near me is so rubbish, the staff are rude, I hardly ever get my green tesco points, the store is always a mess and there are never trolleys available!!! There is a massive tescos near work and it is ten times better.
