I'm really lucky. I've got some free accomodation in Australia and I can get free flights too (just pay taxes), but you can't go for just a week and you can't go all that way and sit around, so it can end up being quite expensive in spends. I'm not going this year, while I sort out the finances, but definitely next year.
Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending

 You lucky lucky person! I know someone who gets free flights as he works for BA, but sadly he is not allowed to take his friends for free as well..!

PS You'll find I am now nagging you on your other thread too :)

I know, I am lucky. I think in an ideal world (and maybe when I make my billions through MB ;)) I'll spend 6 months of the year there and 6 months here. Perfect.

    Hullo Lula :)

Yeah but if I'd done that I would have eaten them all before I even started work, and then still spent 61p at work, and ended up several pounds heavier..!

Aah, that's where I'm going wrong then. NB extreme money saving can make you fat

To be fair I don't actually go away every three months, but need to have some time off at least or I get worn out and furious :) Although I did go on hols that often when I wasn't single but that's cos I had free use of a cottage Brittany. Now the only place I can go for free is my uncle's caravan in Teignmouth

Very jammy of you :D I also have free accommodation in Portugal where we're going & also Spain. The cost of flights within school holidays + self catering is often more than a last minute all inclusive deal though  Much better for the environment not to overdo the jet setting as well.

Sounds nice. On the other hand, I have bought wine made from the Bobal grape. Is that even a real thing?! :rotfl:

I believe that this is loosely related to the bonobo chimp ... or is that we humans

Yep I'm hoping it's humans - some more loosely than others..!

True - 61p though! The vending machine people are robbers

You are indeed being robbed. Mini Cheddars are a miserly 60p in the vending machine here.

  • Just finishing up on my day job.

Probably won't be posting tonight as me & my brother are taking the parents out for a meal for mam's birthday.

Hope everyone has a good one.
