How did you manage to overpay on the groceries Sarah? I really love online grocery shopping these days, although I won't do it unless I can get 10 pounds off a 50 pound shop now
Right I'm going to carry on packing for my weekend away. Have fun!
I have no ideaHopefully it will be sorted out as I did use a £10 code, but I still paid £50 ish ( I think). It is coming tomorrow and if it's not right I will send it all back.
Good luck with the packingPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
careful sarah they're so dangerous, I buy the magazine, have a good drool and find some lovely website selling awesom stuff for the house, then spend the next couple of hours putting things in and out of the basket and inevitably end up spending money (no wonder I can't afford to get the walls plastered!)
I have a £5 voucher for WHSmiths so I might use it to get a free house magazine and cut some pictures out to inspire me, so it will be very MSE:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

I don't know if I should be buying magazines about lovely houses when I can't even keep one room clean and tidy.
However, I am planning a big decluttering weekend- starting now:rolleyes:- so I will get it as a reward when I am done:j
I shall be back to record every single little bit of decluttering I do as I am rubbish at it and need to keep myself motivated:oPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
I just read my last post again and I use 'though' way, way too much! Stop me!!!
You've just reminded me of a little quirk of my own Gwen.
If I used a sentence that went " ........but ..............." an old friend of mine used to have a habit of sying "After but comes bullsh** " . So over time, I developed a habit of using the word "however" rather a lot. It is quite useful really because it's supposedly not good English to start a sentence with words like "but" and "and" except where some emphasis may be desired. However (there I go again), starting a sentence with "however" is apparently alright.

Hmmm. Am doing very badly at the decluttering:o I have filled one bin bag and it still looks awful. I shall carry on
On the plus side my online shopping has tracked on quidco:D so that's £5. I will just have to hope I got the actual shopping bill right:o and that I remeber to be in tomorrow when it arrives:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

I dont care how I start or finish my sentences .....
I have red shoes:j:D:j:D
They were only £22.49 in the clarks sale & are as shiny & red as can be. They are without doubt a pair of lollipop shoes - as in the book of the same name that spawned F*** Off, I'm Fabulous  - I also have a new red bag to go with my new red shoes. It's beautiful & I love it. I shamelessly bribed my innocent child into allowing me to purchase it. There was very nearly a 'scene' in the shop as she tried to wrench it out of my hands. It smells divine & I promise to honour & obey it until death do us part.
I actually went in to find shoes for DD but there were none in her size & then I saw one of them on the shelf, I slipped it on & immediately I was intoxicated. The rather dishy assistant ran to get the other one & as it glided on I knew that we were meant to be together :heartpuls. As I took them off to be paid for I swear I heard them cry, & then sigh with relief as they realised that they were coming home with me :rotfl:
In case you're all thinking that I'm just a self indulgent spendthrift ... let me assure you that this is Lulas Karmic Law in action. I went to The Body Shop to spend the last of my £3.50 on my gift card. Ok, I stretched it to £21
but that was because the body butter was on offer & there was a rather gorgeous green sparkly liquid eyeliner at the till too. Somehow I found myself telling the assistant all about Quidco & she was intrigued, delighted & grateful
By spreading the Quidco word, Karma rewarded me with red shoes :T

Oh my god - you are amazing / psychic / stalking me
Yes, I did, are they hideous?
I would never normally get anything like them but thought that they would be perfect for hol & they are just so comfy & have 'new opportunities' written all over them ... I have kept the receipt though just in case everyone sneers at them0
