I don't think so - BGC credits are processed by machine not humans - the coding would apply the payment and no dates are checked by using paper credits.(You could use any old form for instance to pay say this month's payment)this is the only down side to direct bebit, you don't get to send the bank giro slip back to next, then they would know what month your payment was for.
Also a D/D would have been asked and applied to the correct month.0 -
I have set up a DD, I did it as soon as I was aware of the problem.LinasPilibaitisisbatman wrote: »Its a mistake by you and their comments are correct.
Learn to read agreements properly in future and you won't have to come on here and make yourself stupid by talking a load of !!!!!.
thanks
Do you work for NEXT? Honestly!? What planet are you on? I am perfectly aware of my contractual agreements, thats why I PAY EVERY MONTH! Have you read this thread at all?

Everyone in this thread has told you, that it was your mistake and not Next’s.
You still cannot believe that you,, ever, mess up. Now everyone who does not share your inflated opinion of yourself,
must not only work for Next but also live on a different planet.
But of course, on that planet you are on, it could never be you, who is in the wrong.
Dream on !!!0 -
Sorry if it sounded I was having a go, I wasn't. I appreciate everyone's input and yes I made a mistake by paying early. I am just so frustrated by this.
Quoting myself here. jeez.
I know its my fault, I know Its my mistake.
I am really not contesting that now. What I'm contesting is NEXT recording information about me that I dispute. Because of my mistake, because I paid them too early. NOT LATE! I feel this information portrays and incorrect image of me, regardless of whether it effects my score or not. I want it changed.
I understand why NEXT recorded a late payment. But after explaining myself to them I believe they are being unfair in not amending that information. Personal information about me is being held unfairly, so they maybe breaking the Data Protection Act. So I'm going to complain.0 -

So you admit next where correct to record this information thus your complaint is a waste of everyones time.
Admit you made an error, its been correctly recorded and will have little or no impact and move on.0 -

... And now you're wasting my time. I couldn't just sit here and read your patronising and downright rude comments.
These forums are about helping people. I'm sure you're time is infinitely invaluable so if you don't have time to comment then did you know you don't actually have to?

I'm sorry to hear that - these forums have been a lifeline for me when dealing with my finances, with some extremely helpful people on here - however I really can't blame you after your experience.
Unfortunately in every pool of knowledge you will inevitably have to put up with the odd floater.
