I lost internet bank credit card over christmas. I haven't received a new one in the post, the c/c account is shown as non-existent on my internet account homepage yet my bank is showing a Direct Debit for a sum of money. What can I do, or do I go legit and tell them?!?

well, I'm not sure if the bank shows no record of my account, does this mean it doesn't exist in their eyes and is an administration error and can be written off (whereby my dd are automatic) or do I phone them and tell them that they have a problem?!0

Are you thinking the direct debit was paid from a non-existent account?
What's the bank acount with the direct debit got to do with the credit card account?
Have you informed the bank of the loss of the card?0 -

has the credit card account ever shown up on the internet account homepage0 -
I've had the credit card for some years and there was a balance on it upto when I lost it over Christmas and reported it lost the same night.
A new one was never released to me and my internet account homepage shows it as non-existent. This has been for some months.
A direct debit was set up for the minimum payment some time ago from a separate account. Whilst I have been checking my internet account to see if the account has been reactivated, it still shows there to be no active c/c account. Meanwhile my direct debit is still active?!?
What does this mean?0 -

I gues it's probably the direct debit to pay the minimum amount of the oustanding balance, this will continue until the oustanding balance is cleared - or you pay it off in full.
If the credit card acount has been closed you still have to pay off any oustanding balance.
Looks like they may have made an error and closed the credit card account when you reported the card lost.
They should have put a stop on the lost card and issued you with a new one along with a new PIN for it.
Contact them - they will probably have to now set up a new credit card account for you.0 -
The thing is, I never settled the account, I'm sure there is still money owing, it just isnt showing on my account homepage. Does this mean they have done an administration error and I should cancel my dd and see what happens or should I contact them and let them know they may have messed up?!0

???anybody any ideas???0

I wouldn't cancel the DD, if you do and have an outstanding balance then you will get hit with late payment fees. It's obvious it's an admin error that they haven't sent a new card out yet. Once you get the card it will probably show on your online banking. Ring them up and tell them to send the card.
Which bank is it?0
