You could tell poor BRtz was frightened from the roller coaster. She was white as a ghost. :rotfl:
Actually I think I was still reeling from the shock of the price of a day-pass wristband  :rotfl:

It's not a very big ride but goes up and down in very quick succession, and is an old-fashioned wooden one so jolts a lot :o

Well that's ok then. I take back my earlier comment. ;) As a kindred spirit I can well understand your shock & horror at the prices. :D Actually I was being silly cos I knew you normally had pale skin. 4_1_5.gif

Btw - your hair looked lovely.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Hi Folks ,
May I first say what a great time I had in Blackpool. I haven't had such a giigle for a long time. I permanantly kept my eldest daughter informed of my wherabouts as she is a bit of a worrier and was convinced that her Mum had lost the plot by driving three hundred miles to meet a bunch of perfect strangers from the internet.
Well they may have been strangers when I left my house on Friday morning but not any more.

TM you are a smashing lady with a great sense of humour :rotfl: and a terrific taste in handbags.

Monkeygirl, well done love, I am so pleased that you came after all, and I am sure all of the others will agree with me that you over came various difficulties with great courage.:A I am sure that you enjoyed meeting up with us all as much as we did you:rotfl:

Squeaky, your tales of being a rufty-tufty sailor kept us laughing:D Have you got hollow legs !!. A true sailor who can sink a few with the best

BargainRZL as your new surrogate Mother, it's a good job I never heard you swear I'd have washed your mouth out and sent you to bed with no supper (or wine ) !!!;)
But I bet everytime you hear Nessum Dorma you will remember driving up the M6 with us all belting it out in my car at the tops of our voices:rotfl:

Caterina you were great company, and we had a blast in Fleetwood ( we scoured every charity shop in Lancashire) I can't believe that we had our blood pressure checked (free of course) then promptly went and had coffee and HUGE cream cakes to celebrate being so healthy !!! A great day out, and thanks for the book I have started to read it already.:T

Nelski , what can I say mate you were an absolute hoot, and you have a wicked twinkle in your eye whenever a male with a pulse went by !!! ( On a ratio of one to ten what do you think ? ):rotfl: :rotfl: I shan't tell my daughter about that game :rotfl:By the way how come you snaffled the Young Farmers and I couldn't find any old Farmers The're the ones with the cash kid .
P.S. by the way she says you can borrow me when ever you want .She approves now of her daft old Mum swanning off.

The pics were terrific and I can't believe that this morning we were patting donkeys on the beach Thank Guys for a great week-end you were all fabulous:A
I bet Neil and Mandy were glad to see the back of us

All in all a great time was had by all and I'm not sure if Blackpool could take us again. We all gelled together well, and the days seemed to fly by far too quickly.

i will never forget walking to the prom this morning in hope of getting to the beach and patting the donkeys:rolleyes: and therefore needing to cross the road - pressing the button to cross and then realising there was a 10,000 person marathon heading towards us - we had just got there at the start and had to wait some time before we could eventually cross:rotfl: ............which gave Jackie and i plenty of time to play the out of 10 game:D Lets just say there were some very nice distractions (and some bad ones too:eek: )
Jackie you are an amazing lady and please change that signature "daft" is sooo not true
    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx your loving daughter Nels:D
