Nice present for Mother's Day!
I'm sure most mothers would like to insert a present like that where the sun don't shine

Is that not Richer Sounds terminology for "come in to buy this and we'll sell you something different"?
Well that is what happened for me in the past
The trick is to ring and ask how much the item you want will cost. Chances are they will then have it and quote you the full price. Then you reserve one and go to collect. Make sure you now have details on the price you have ACTUALLY seen it for, take that with you and present it AFTER they have got you the item you want. If you indicate you are expecting the super great price at any point before you have seen the item, they may well be out of stock suddenly.2 + 2 = 4
except for the general public when it can mean whatever they want it to.0 -
7 Day Shop have a range of rechargeables at superb prices. Their own brand NiMh AAs are unbeatable value. The only downside is that there is postage to pay, but I usually find enough things to make an order well worthwhile.

Picked up the Panasonic home cinema system in Belfast today for £119.99. That's £20 more than the one shown on the website but I assume that's because my version is multiregion out of the box.
I'm very new to home cinema and I know that these 'all-in' budget packages aren't the finest quality in terms of sound but this one seems perfectly fine to me. I haven't a big frame of reference but I'd say under £120 for a name brand all-in package like this is pretty good.
No mention of this being the last one in stock either by the way.0 -
Richer sounds have the JVC THS33R (Multi region Version) on offer again HERE including the Tallboy speakers.0

Wonder what it actually sounds like though!Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

I bought the JVC ones when they were on offer at the start of the new year.. Used them for a day and was rather dissapointed with the sound output.. So gave em back and went elsewhere (comet clearance store) and bought a much more powerful system.. yay..0
