...
They've been that price for about five years.0 -
so have the cheap rubbish tellys (although not at RS).
BTW anyone notice they've extended their range to include 3 different types of vacuum cleaner and a microwave? RS are losing the plot.0 -
This dvd system shows up in the bargain section:-
Panasonic
Initially I was looking to buy this JVC one when it was at the £99 price:-
JVC
Could I have someones opinion on whether the panasonic is a good buy for £99 or if there is better out there for the same money? I have a 42" Toshiba rear projection tv, digital, which my speakers plug straight in for the surround sound, so is it best spending £99 on a dvd player without the speakers for a better spec, or still go for a complete system like the ones above?
Thanks in advance peeps!0 -
Remember that Richer Sounds have price match + minus%
I purchased a denon av receiver, found it £50 elsewhere and they price matched and deducted an additional 10%0 -
it looks like the JVC system plays divx whereas the panasonic one doesnt - this would be a big factor in my judgement!0

I notice the Panasonic says "stocks eratic"
Is that not Richer Sounds terminology for "come in to buy this and we'll sell you something different"?
Well that is what happened for me in the pastCheers,

It means they may or may not have stock in a particular store.scoobies wrote:I notice the Panasonic says "stocks eratic"

AS RS states:
If you're lucky enough to live close to a store, just pop in and ask if they have them in stock. If not say "oh well, thanks anyway" and walk out. Please phone to check stock if you are making a special journey.
