The basic business plan was flawed. People realised that there were too many hidden charges and 'gottchas' associated with the scheme. IMHO they had the oportunity to shake up the PAYG market in this country but in almost every case the cost of running an Easy mobile was more expensive than the likes of Tesco or Virgin.pricefighter wrote:"With the current number of customers, none of the three countries is a success. Pity really.

The fact that they make what amounts to a 75p line rental charge amonth for low users.and that you cant top up in the High St doesnt help.0

If they close it down, I assume that they will give us a chance to change suppliers & keep the number. Has there been another case like this?0

I would imagine that they will give you a PAC code prior to closing down their network. This would allow you to take your number to any network you wish. Make sure they don't put a sting in the tail by trying to charge for the PAC :mad:JPR wrote:If they close it down, I assume that they will give us a chance to change suppliers & keep the number. I had 3 or 4 sims from them, but have cancelled them all when they mistakenly tried to take me to court! Bunch of clowns IMO!
The 75p low usage is the killer though... if it was annual I could understand, but monthly is just stupid.0
