Way to go tmk well done on your win
:)
That dress is lovely krailton:)
Right, I'm off to bed. The next time I'll be on here will be after the Lincoln 10k tomorrow. Apparently the weather should be better than today - I hope it is less windy (been gails and hail here today). Will probably be a saddo and tweet/fb from my phone before I come home from Lincoln, but will def come on here in the afternoon and let you know how I got on. Should have gone to bed an hour ago as was planning to get 8 hours tonight (or at least try!) but of course the clocks change don't they?! Oh well... I've run the distance on less sleep just not very quickly. Wish me luck - race starts at 11am but we don't normally actually get going until about 20 past.
Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday evening and has a good Sunday morning. See you tomorrow afternoon. xLife is all about the journey.0 -
Thank you for that, i will wear it, its just i am not use to going much anymore, and worried about going, think i just like being indoors and not away from home, feels safe that way, and always panic if late getting somewhere or comming back...

Hi everyone!!:hello:
Happy Birthday PMS and KKK. :bdaycake: Hope you both had fab days!! xxxo
Nonamewoman - Hope you get well soon! xxx
Nicky - There are some selfish people in the world, and i cannot understand why someone would take those flowers at all. Karma will get them someday!! xxx
Krailton - That dress looks perfect for a black tie do, cos its simple, but you can jazz it up with a sparkly handbag or jewelery. xxx
Congrats to everyone who's won something...i got a book through the post today called: "how to plan the perfect party.":D
Bit ironic, as sisters 16th was last week...but delighted nonetheless, as its my first proper win!!:D

Gosh does what you have written there sound familiar! You will be fine when you actually get going on your way hun and you'll have a whale of a time. I am exactly the same and turn down loads of nights out for that very reason. In fact we should be at an 80's night tonight and being short of cash was just a very convienient excuse. I have loved the trips away wins I've had in the end, but was always panicky beforehand. Just try to relax and enjoy xxThat ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free0 -

I used to feel like this too Krailton. Uni course used to be only 2 days a week, but had to force myself to go there, just wanted to stay alone in my bedroom all the time!!
On the other 3 days people found pt jobs, but i just stayed in the safety of home, as people can't hurt you at home!
Now placement is 5 days a week, I have no choice but to attend and i've got used to going there, still feel depressed, and wanting to stay alone in my little corner sometimes instead of going out.
Splodz - Good luck for tomorow, although im sure you won't need it.;)0 -
Splodz, I think I might have caught you on twitter, but best of luck for tomorrow!:D0

I agree Nicky63. I am so self conscious now when I get invited anywhere....I don't have nowt good enough to wear...my hairs a mess...worrying about the kids...getting fat...etc..etc! Once I am out though, I have a great night and don't want to come home!
The dress is stunning krailton, enjoy yourself & relax!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Sally, well done on the win, hope many more to follow and hope you and your sister had a great birthday party.
I know what you all mean about the withdrawal inclination. It is because it can get really stressful at work/uni/etc..and I can't calm down sometimes till I am back home, in front of my computer and having a peaceful coffee.
I try to keep my life in balance and remember about face to face social skills etc but I am just too drained to worry about this side of my life.. I need an extended holiday and have not had one for fOUR years...
Right, I better go do the 30th competitions since tomorrow I need to work hard..0
