Good luck for tomorrow Splodz!! Have fun - thats the main part!

Happy birthdays to those I've missed!!

And now for moaning Minny here!"!!!!! ARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!! Effing fellas!!
I've been saying for ages I thought I'd done the wrong thing by taking him back and to be honest, I really do think I have....and I'm actually sat here now crying whilst typing. He had some friends around tonight for a Wii night and before they went he HAD to go to the kebab shop, even though there is perfectly good food in the kitchen here. So his friends missus (who incenditaly both knew about OH and the SS when it was happening and never did anything!!!") called her fella to see where they were...he lied and said they were inthe kebab shop, they weren't ....they were in the pub...fine, not a problem, then OH comes home stinking of cigs, (we quit about 4 months ago) so I challenge him and he says he just had the one....a packet of 20 drops out of his pocket, then he tells me that he needed to speak to his friend away from me and his friends missus, but it was nothing to do with me or her, etc etc
and then he just starts going on about this and that and every word that comesout ofhis mouth is an effing lie!!!! HOW CAN I BE WITH A MAN WHO CAN LIE ABOUT STUPID CRAP LIKE THAT!!! So me (being slighrly drunk myself, brings up the Silly sl@g and gets slated for it -= his friend goes on and on about how I've got issues - well sorry, but if you had been cheated on for 4 months and someone knew about it but did jack crap I think you'd have issues too!!!)

Anyways I'm waffling now...but just needed to vent somewhere seen as fool here has fallen asleep in a drunken stupor and can only say whatever!!! (Think he may be embarrased because I was having a go in front of his friends!! - think he deserved it!!!)
Made it - 15 years married!! Finally!! xx:beer:

Sally, well done on the win, hope many more to follow and hope you and your sister had a great birthday party.

I know what you all mean about the withdrawal inclination. It is because it can get really stressful at work/uni/etc..and I can't calm down sometimes till I am back home, in front of my computer and having a peaceful coffee.

I try to keep my life in balance and remember about face to face social skills etc but I am just too drained to worry about this side of my life.. I need an extended holiday and have not had one for fOUR years...

Right, I better go do the 30th competitions since tomorrow I need to work hard..

Hiya.
Thought no-one else was awake!!
Thanks! Yep party was great...although guess who had to cleanup?
Got over 2000 subscribed threads now, so quite hopeful at least one of them must be a win!!
Still haven't started the 30th yet...will do them inabit!

Holidays are out of the question for me...i am not at all confident going somewhere new by myself, let alone to another country!
Been disneyland florida, and paris years ago, but both time with groups of people/supervisors. etc.
If i know someone else is there protecting me/in charge, then i can relax!:o

Hope your studies are going well, and you've got some way through the dissertation.

GERT - ((hugs))
Vent away!! Sounds like you had a bad evening of it tonight!!
No-one else can say if you made a mistake taking him back or not, only you can decide, but im sure people in the inn will give you advice.
I would just suggest you sleep onit, as drink does seem to make things seem worse than they are, and hopefully things might seem better in the morning, and your oh/bf might be apologetic to you.
I think trust is a HUGE issue in any relationship, maybe talk to him about if he lies, you're gonna find it hard to trust him about anything, and then theres no point to a relationship!
Maybe that could be the shock he needs to change!!;)
If the relationship is strong enough, it will survive whatever happens...you've already survived an affair, so this could just be another obstacle to overcome!!

Sally, you will feel more confident about going on holidays etc in the right time, don't pressurise yourself out of your comfort zone.

Gert awwwww, men can act really !!!!!!!! when they have had a bit to drink. You know what though, best thing is to ignore him till he sobers up as upsetting as this maybe, unfortunately. The problem is you can't address anything when someone has had a bit too much to drink. Just stay calm and let him sleep it off. I think all everyone in a committed relationship is entitled to accountability and honesty so don't worry about what he says, AND I don't understand why his friend is interferring, uninvited!!! Listen hun, calm down tonight....as much as possible x Just think of the end result.

We are always here for you btw if you need to vent. Please don't feel on your own.

I'm on the sofa tonight anyway cos really can't be arsed with him and his snoring, in fact really can't be arsed with him full stop tonight!! Things have been going soo well for ages, but YES.....of course I still have issues and being lied to all the time, even over small stuff doesn't bloody help!!!!

I'm going to sleep now before I get really stressed!!

Happy british summer time!!

Night Gert, you need a rest ..
Tomorrow is another day hun, and I personally think that changing your reaction to his actions might help: ignore him.

I hope tomorrow is better for you x

Hope we have a summer this year!

He should be bending over backwards to get your trust back, but he doesn't seem to realise the seriousness of his actions!
Talking to him about the issues you have with him should make him realise how much hes hurting you!!
Also, taking time out as a couple, maybe dinner at a restaurant or short break away could help you rediscover the spark in your relationship!!
Hope this gets sorted, or at least seems better in the morning!!
