Don't know if any of you were sent a sample of the Venus razor by Cosmopolitan late last year? The blades for it are quite expensive, anyway, I went into Boots today and they had the pack of 3 blades for £7 odd, or for a few pence more you could get the razor, holder & 4 sets of blades. Better still, they had the better razor with the built-in soap bars at £8 odd with the razor, holder and 6 sets of blades.

hi bs, had one of those , gave it my big sis , will pass the info on to her , thanks ..

  • I must add it wasn't her who checked to see if anyone was still in but she is having a disaplinary (sp?) with the rest of the staff now to see how it could have happened.

OMG just been on phone to my sis who I haven't spoken to for a few weeks, she works at a library in Bradford & was working when this happened!

    http://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/district/district_bradford/4205405.Reader_locked_in_library_had_panic_attack/

In one of my previous lives I was PA to the Head of Libraries, and that made me cringe! there is going to be so much hassle and investigation and new policy making after that, pass my sympathy on the your sis please! xx
That ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free ;)

  • I know what you mean Bucks don't worry, ALL the staff that were working when it happened are having to do this disaplinary (I haven't a clue how to spell it sorry) but hopefully with her not being at 'fault' and she's worked there years without any problems then is shouldn't be any problem for her now but we'll have to wait & see really.

I'd love an hour locked in library!!! he could have put on mse for an hour and done some comps in peace xxxx
I'm surprised they are demanding an apology, he is an adult not a child and should be capable of noticing what is going on around him, yes the staff should have checked as it could have been an elderly person/child BUT a panic attack over being locked in a library? Locked in a Morgue or dentists i could understand, all he had to do was switch on a light and sit down, whats weird is , he said he didn't understand english BUT understood the keyholder moaning? xxxxx

  • Does anyone here live near or going to York with kids soon - maybe during Easter holidays? Me & DH have decided to give away the extra 'york pass' we won't need so want to offer it here first, more info is here :-

www.yorkpass.com it's a 2 consecutive days one for kids, priced £22 online valid until sometime next year (can't remember offhand exact date sorry but will check later) & is loads of places it can be used
