ME too!! i have a rare genetic disorder which among other things is supposed to make 'carrying full term' difficult... typical that i fell preggers on honeymoon and she survived LOL  Lyd's has it too but none of the symptoms of it will affect her for a good few years yet and even then it depends how strong / mild her version of it is

Im bit wary of what i write, in case someone recognises me, cos my situations bit rare and memorable.
My condition is easily treated by medication if its detected early, eg, while still a foetus. but sometime after your 20s, could be in 30s or 40s the meds will stop working, thats when problems start!!
So we know we're not gonnabe one of those people who live till 80s/90s.
Me, brother and mum all affected in different ways. Brother and mum both have catheters and colostomy bags, i have none! I have effectuvely had normal life so far, with the help of regular checkups, but don't know if i'd want a child to go through being poked and prodded all their life like i did!
    xx

Thats fair enough - i feel the same xx

Its weird isnt it - telling people you have never met personal stuff about yourself ??

It feels ok here because everyone is so nice - but you never know who might be "lurking "

    Night noname! xxx

Watters - Changing subject for you. Work placement is good, its given me an idea of what i could do and what i can't!
If i decide to get a job straight after graduating next year, everyone says i will do ok, cos theres a shortage of social workers!

But im kind of doubting if thats the right profession for me too, cos i am really shy until i get to know people, and to fight for what clients are entitled to, you have to be confident, outspoken, etc.

oh well...will worry about that next year!

yeah and after hearing what happened last month when that 'person' told loads of really terrible lies and made everyone believe her and then it all turned out to be false im a bit of a sceptic and am sure people feel the same so i try not to bring the mood down to much with my sob stories LOL
