    Yep nursey here.
Work both days and nights, internal rotation they call it. messing with body clock I call it.
I actually don't mind nights though, get to sleep really well during the day.
Work on a gastroenterology medical ward, so get lots of varied patients in, and atm they are all being very well behaved, but don't want to say too much, cause as soon as you start talking like that, all hell breaks loose:rolleyes:

    Oh...you mean with confidentiality?
Do you work with children or adults?

Wow! My friends a student nurse, and i told her i couldn't do that job, cos of all the blood/sick you have to deal with, and when patients die! She said you get used to it, but still couldn't do it!:o

confidentiality, but also, it is well known that if you talk about a ward being quiet (we never usually say the "Q" word) something happens to change that.
Work with adults, and the way the hospitals are atm, some very old adults.

Nah, I enjoy my job really, but lots of paperwork and red tape going on in the nhs atm, always short staffed, and always find something to moan about.:rotfl:

Sounds good...I would've thought working with adults would be easier than working with children, but older adults are like children too, arent they?

Its same with social workers...short-staffed, and spend more time filling in paperwork than actually caring for people.

Its good you're not working in A+E, because on a Friday night that must be far from Q.;)

    Anyway night!
see you tomorow, or whenever your body clock has recovered!

Why have you been told off?

Because I have overdone it thursday, doing loads of stuff for the school, trying to raise money, had a migraine when I woke up friday, hence the telling of by people!

Morning all, firstly sorry Sally didn't mean to ignore you last night I had to dash off suddenly as DH had a funny turn and passed out, just over tired I hope!, have left him in bed for now. No I'm not one of those that enjoy childbirth lol, I just had an easy time and wanted to say so as not to put you youngsters off too much ;)

Korky, have a lovely day hun, so glad you could use the ticks, still can't find the comp they're from to thank though, I definitely didn't enter for tickets so they must have been an unmentioned extra for the draw mentioned in the eticket letter  Anyway have fun :j

Morning everyone else, we had loads to do today but not sure if hubby's ok yet, shall let him sleep for a while then see how the land lies, he used to have blackouts years ago but not for about 20 years now, it was a bit scarey, I had to call DS to help and just let him take over cos I was a bit of a shakey mess. That's one advantage to having grown up kids I guess.

Happy, Healthy, lucky vibes to all xxx
That ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free ;)
