Hi, my gas bill came through today for period 9.12.08 - 10.03.09 both actual readings - £432.89. below are the figures they quote, does anyone know if they look right as when i ring bg they bamboozle me with figures.
9.12.08 - actual 21545
18.02.09 - est 22375
= 830 metric units used over 72 days
gas units converted = 9525.56kWh used over 72 days
first 529 kWh x 7.149p = £37.82
next 8996.56 kWh x 3.578 = £321.90
cost of gas used = £359.72

18.02.09 - est 22375
10.03.09 - actual 22558
= 183 metric units used over 20 days
gas units converted = 2100.21 kWh used over 20 days
first 147 kWh x 6.805p = £10
next 1953.21kWh x 3.234p = £63.17
cost of gas used = £73.17
total gas used £432.89

Reading today - 22601
Please can anyone make any sense of whether this is correct or not
Many thanks in advance.

Although rather high consumption for a quarter(11,625kWh) your bill seems correct.

The estimated reading is for the date of the price reduction.
