Check your credit record - it may show up if they have a CCJ already.0

How do I check my credit records?
I've not asked for any credit in the last 20 years.0 -
Some even give you a free check, there might even be one on this site.
You can request from Equifax on line (costs a couple of quid I think), you can probably do the same with Experian. I think they post the details to you but I've never done it on line so don't quote me.0 -
Just so I get this right?
CSA slap a BIG liability order through the courts.
After discussing and doing the sensible thing of working out the calculation and its found to be incorrect, the liability order is reduced without having to go court, if all parties agree? You pay what you owe and you don't get any other court demands.
Do the CSA inform the baliffs?
What happens if they go from magistrates court to county court within a month of the LO being granted in a magistrates court. How do you get the ccj, which may go on your credit record removed?
Any ideas as to what the time frame is from when the LO was served that you can get an adjustment?0 -
Good luck, they got CCJ from County Court in our case in less than a month, the CCJ can be seen as 'satisfied' if CSA do the right thing!!!!!!!
Your guess is as good as mine, but once a CCJ is satisfied you will get a letter/certificate of 'satisfaction', which can the progress to having the CCJ removed0 -
I now learn it was a
"penalty assessment?"0 -
Which is indeed an IMA you need to get it converted to an FMA (full maintenance assessment) asap0
