CSA Breakdown of Arrears

Has anyone ever received one of these, what kind of things does it contain?
Month by month totals
PAYE details
Times when you are out of work?
If the arrears on CSA1 do they convert to CSA 2 or stay under the old format?
What exactly do they provide? Are they generally detailed?

A breakdown of arrears shows all the assessments made and the payments due, set against the payments made. It shows all overcharges and undercharges due to the changes in assessment.0

never ever seen one0

I'm starting to think the breakdown of arrears doesn't really exist and CSA just make up a figure to charge the NRP! My OH has written twice and requested a breakdown of his arrears and a total of how much he owes but no sign of it. We're about to send another very stroppy letter demanding it rather than asking. When he asked about it during a phone call from CSA he was told it could take 6 weeks to arrange. So:
1) Why does it take so long? - Surely the arrears must have been calculated already or else how can they be charging him for this?
2) Why are the CSA the only organisation in the world that appears to be able to write to someone, say they owe them money and demand payment without any supporting info?0 -
to be fair, I think you are right.
I don't understand How the court can say "yes" to a liability order, with no breakdown. They very cleverly say no need to attend, but surely they must provide some kind of proof to the court?0 -
NO you are wrong, they do do them and they are quite complicated to understand as they talk about overcharges and undercharges.0

surely its my right to see it?0

A LO will be granted irrespective of any proof a debt even exists, never mind how much an alleged debt may be for. Kelloggs is expert on CS1, we asked for breakdown many many times, were promised it many many times, and only got to bottom of things when we received our 'incomplete' DP File.
Now ICO have confirmed we still waiting ' as a matter of urgency' all details CSA hold on us, yet we have been told by 2 CSA Reps over phone that the specific info we talking about has been 'lost'. Strange we never received the telephone transcripts we requested either?
Sorry, didn't mean to veer off on tangent, suppose I'm just saying get your DP file, all info should be i there0 -

Another very good reason never to deal with the idiots over the phone!0 -
my hubby refused to admit to any arrears until a breakdown of arrears was provided - they actually sent someone elses breakdown but that's another story - you have a right to request a breakdown of arrears, you wouldn't pay a credit card bill without first checking your statement or you wouldn't pay for a mechanics bill without a breakdown of charges would you?
The data protection files won't necessarily provide a breakdown of payments made / arrears etc.
They have the facility to provide a breakdown so don't be fobbed off with their pathetic excuses.0 -
The problem I have is this
A Liability order is served based on providing NO BREAKDOWN in court
You then get a breakdown sent to you personally (eventually) which is flawed and miscalculated.
Appealing against a LO never works, I know of no-one who has won an appeal.
A LO has been served wrongly, how does it get put aside or quashed?0
