Hi all,
I've got some US Dollars I'd like to change back to Pounds. I don't have a receipt from an original purchase as they were given to me as repayment of an old debt from a friend now living in the US. Where can I get the best rate?
Thanks for looking.

some shops may take as payment, with any change in GBP, though what rate they offer may vary wildly..
look for LOWEST rate , so takes less foreign cash to get back to ££..Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)0 -

What's the best rate you've seen so far?
I'll post a link to this thread on the US$ thread. There are a couple of people on there that I'm sure will be very interested.
Thanks for doing that.
I've only been back since yesterday evening so I haven't looked yet but I'm told the Post Office and Marks and Spencers give good rates.0 -
You'll get a good rate just about anywhere now. The pound is going to the knackers yard. :rotfl:0
