    I have just come across your diary and you are an inspiration I mean that. Myself and oh are starting a dmp with CCCS in January as I couldnt cope with arguing with the creditors day in, day out:mad: mind you im being harrassed now like 5/6 times a day.

    Anyway, just wanted to say glad your debts are going in the right direction, well done and chin up. There is defo light at the end of the tunnel!

    yep yep yep... i know... but just now and then i can dream ... eh?

    i think we have done ok-ish in the 2 yrs - paying off so much.. but we're not over the hump yet... debt is falling every day but not fast enough for me.

    ok enough whinning from me ...

    humbug.. hate xmas.

    hate people shopping and bragging about what they have bought :(

    just wanted to say we have now paid off nearly 93K in 2 years and 30k of that since feb this year! impressive... still blooming hard going though... when will i ever feel happy again :(

    Those people bragging don't know how stupid they are, they are to be pitied. When I look back on Christmases past, I don't remember the presents, I remember the good times sharing a meal with people I love. Laughing at the most stupid things, and all round the tv watching the Christmas specials fighting over who's eaten the last of the chocolate...That's Christmas, not the thud of the January visa bill hitting the door mat.

    So, you still owe £479k? Have you added on any debt this year? It just seems that you pay off a lot, but your figures never go down by that amount.

    EDIT: if you look at your own sig, it seems you've added on a LOT to CCs/Loans - almost £20k - do you know why?

    Sorry if I seem harsh, it's just that it doesn't all add up...
