This shows the minimum redundancy payout

    http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/AdvancedSearch/Searchresults/index.htm?fullText=redundancy+rights

gives you government links to redundancy info

It all depends on length of service and company policy how much you get - but you should always get at least statutory redundancy pay

  • all people at same level have to be consulted with and put at risk. Then there will be a points scoring system against a set criteria. You are given your scores at a meeting and then get the chance to attend another meeting and discuss scores and appeal if you think they are unfair - these scores can be revised and if necessary take copies of any performance reviews or evidence of any good performance to back it up. If redundancy happens you are entitled to £380 per year's service or £570 if aged 41 or over plus your notice period (all tax free up to £30,000).
  • Thanks, i guess i will see what next week will bring :S
