oh im laughing now... ok so our gas will be 135 per month and electric 195 per month ha ha hahahahahahahahhahahahha

instead of 75 and 45 ... cos they been undercharging us... so now i have to look at what we are using... just another thing to add to my list of everthing..... :-(
Been there too......and I knew we were underpaying but thought I would just wait a bit longer before posting a reading.
Got a £1000 gas bill winter 08/09 and £500 leccy for same period.
I did pay it but waited for a red first as we don't 'do' DD anymore for anything.
DD were the things to go when I started debt busting...just to give us some flexibility.

This winter we have frozen though derelict rental cottage has a coal fire...and gas bill was still £350 for the quarter.

ok for fun lets list what i used to have in the way of maintenance.....

    1. leg hair laser
    2. leg wax
    3. arm pit laser
    4. spray tan - either booth or by beauty therapist
    5. boxtox
    6. filler
    7. eyebrow shape
    8. eyelish tint
    9. chanel clarins and dior skin care/make up
10 forever french manicure every other week - infills etc
    11. teeth whitening
    12. chiropodist
    13. hair colour/trim etc

    :-)

now... rub down with oily rag sounds good!

In my job I see it all and do feel a bit 'left out' as don't 'do' any of the fillers botox and what not. Thing is Botox is so obvious and the frozen brow doesn't make anyone look younger as such...just a bit errr... frozen.

The Epilator was my best MSE thing @ £30....brilliant for legs and underarms.

When I have spare ££££ (which won't be until the mortgage is gone now...my new challenge) I will spend on teeth for sure.

The problem with skin is it's best dealt with from inside and the bestest skin saving treatment is to eat no sugar and a wholefood diet incl seeds, and oats....a bit dull but it does work.

I haven't tried the old style facials but Nivea is great.
  • yes but for those of us that like junk facials are the way forward when one can afford :(xx

  • Teeth - look on Ebay - only buy the 35% bleach hough - thanks to orthodontics I have starght staright teeth but for whitening I used Ebay - think it's Sunshine Health products from Florida- I used it twice a day for teo weeks three years ago - and now just do it twice a year - it's briliant (literally) and about a tenner and arrives within a few days....and the aspin face mask, belwive me, is not pamper-y at all, but it does the job - pinker, smoother, cleaner

I'm going to try the sunshine teeth whitening.
Aspirin facials? I did read something about them somewhere...India Knights book I think.

I guess you ground them up with a bit of water and smear on?
