    Thanks, thing is I don't want to pay another 11 years when I could have some money back now to pay off my debts, I know you don't get back what you have paid in but I'm willing to cut my losses, I need to get out of debt ASAP and start saving. I'm withdrawing over £1k a month from Paypal and paying so much a month towards my debts and I'd be laughing if I was saving that instead.

    I know, the thought of it. I started paying it in 1996.

    There is no harm in me ringing them up and finding out roughly how much I would get back, anything that will reduce my debt (and interest) would be great, even if I just had enough to pay off MBNA (6.5k) I'd be happy as that is the highest interest.

    In bed!! I won't be going to bed for at least another 4 hours, I love it when everyone else is in bed fast asleep and it's just me left with my own thoughts.

    I had an Endowment mortgage years ago when I got my first place, when I sold my house I kept the Endowment going, when we moved from OH's flat into our house we had the Endowment linked to our mortgage as it made the monthly payments cheaper but now our fixed rate is up and we are changing to Repayment only I don't really need the Endowment anymore as it is not on track to pay the £31,350 it was meant to when I took it out so I'm thinking of cashing it in early and getting some money back.
