Just feel like life is doo doo :O im following slimming worled again i was fed up of atkins meat :O yuk .... just feel abit fed up with the whole cash flow and debt situation i cant see an end it really puts the heavy strain on a relationship x

Are you still going to sell your property in Cyprus? Do you rent it out? Could you make some money that way.

I would love to go to Hawaii again but won't be going for a very long time, when I'm debt free I shall be saving up to take the kids there, it is my favourite place on earth, I know my girls would love it and I'd spend a fortune buying them Hawaiian clothing.

Going to ring up Prudential tomorrow and see about my Endowment how much I'd get back if I surrendered it now. It won't be linked to our mortgage for much longer and seems a waste of £57.04 a month which I could use to pay towards a debt. Hopefully if I get £8k back I'd be happy, although may be less than that.

I've just listed 5 items on Ebay plus the one from earlier and have 3 more ready for later.

TMD, apologies in advance if I'm teaching you to suck eggs but once you get a quote from the Pru check out what you'd get on the 2nd hand market for endowments. They used to trade at 25% more than straight surrenders but worth getting some quotes the worse they can be is accept the Pru figure. You may also need to arrange separate life insurance if you rely on the cover provided with the endowment. Egg sucking reminders over - I'll go sit in the corner.:o

We booked a Sun holiday for £9.50 each, didn't have any of the 4 places/dates we originally chose and the only one that was acceptable when we looked online was in October school holidays. OH moaned but I did tell him to sort it out but he said no for me to do it so tough!!

We always go away at Easter, normally to Bognor Regis to a Travellodge at Fontwell but one of the nights we wanted was £39 the other night £19 so not sure about that. We like to go to the Sunday Market.

OH is planning to go to Bulgaria as he bought a plot of land with grapes on (don't ask!!) but he knows that I am not happy about it and have no interest in ever going there so I told him that if he goes there on holiday by himself then I will go away for a week by myself - will be interesting to see if that happens - will have to think where I can go!!!

alternatively find out if you can leave it to run its course and make it 'paid up'. Then it will (might) pay out a final bonus...you leave it where it is but don't pay more premiums;)
This option might still give you life cover, too.

talking about selling endowments... i had one going back from my very first house... sold that to a company .. got much more than the surrender value!

tmd: yes we are renting out cyprus but its still on market... and im pleased to say that savills are handling it so should get some nice rich russians!

my best place on earth... dar al masyf... dubai ! u get a butler and everything.. only down side - a 10 day stay for 5 comes to around 11k! yeah yeah... tell me about it!.... oooo could that be where all our money went?!

ive just looked at other halfs vigin bill direct debit has shot up to 160 from 120 what the hell ? can life be more of a drag lock me up for a year
