  • Hi Mrscmr

I am really sorry you have having a rough patch again, you were so upbeat last week. This whole debt thing truly sucks :(.

Do you think the answer would be a formal DMP through CCCS or the like? Would that be enough to stop you having to put the house on the market?

    Best wishes

  • Hello Mrscmr

I have been reading but not posting, work went to crap and took all my time. I am really so sorry things aren't going well.

Are you sure about the house? Is there nothing else you can sell? sorry I am sure you have sold pretty much everything.

and just because its an interview doesn't mean you won't get it.You are a brilliant person with such willpower and talent.

Hang on we are all cheering you on

Hi MrsC - would a dmp be an option - because if it was would it not be better to wait for house prices to go back up before doing anything so drastic?

    Hugs

At least you kept your overdraft facility it could have been worse. I would go back to CCCS and ask for more help

Come on mrscmr dont' give up hope...every bad batch makes you stronger..:)
Can the cards not go on a lower payment...freeze any more interest? Can your mortgage term be extended to lower your monthly payments ? I think I can remember you saying you had another house abroad...can anything be changed with this one to help you with your UK house?

Just remember with the banks, they are all people and your finances pay their wages , they need you :) Big hug x

  • Hi Mrs Cmr

Sorry to hear you are having a bad week. What has changed since last week when you were feeling so good? You now have some work which is GREAT!

Don't know about DMPs other than that those who talk about teventually having one seem to be relieved. They gain some control and start to plan and save for the future. They say they can change the payments as their circumstances change and usually get to the end of it sooner than planned ie 3 years instead of 5. Must be worth serious consideration?

Chin up and well done on getting some work!!
  • Oh well done on the job/work level Mrs cmr - just when it all looked bleak - that might be just what you need to fill a bit of the monthly gap......will you be able to keep up the eBay shop too? Oh and may I have a pm with the link to that please?

    A big congratulations from
