found out how much OH will get paid after flights, tax, food etc... omg... its not enough. what am i gonna do? we can move our 1 nov mortgage date to 30 nov that helps. i have a tiny bit of paid work but nothing much. i am ebaying the wall paper off the walls, screws from the doors, skirting boards and bricks of our house... but try as i might.. it aint working.

so off i go to do a dreadful thing... another bloody balance transfer into bank account. i have 2 cc'd with nothing on... hello mr GM Card... my names mrscmr and im a debtaholic! !!!!!!!gggrrrr

tbh i am glad my laptop with its debt planning spreadsheets is dead cos i cant see my totals anymore... do i care...? do i heck!

can u all see the black cloud hanging over my head as i walk about?

considering doing the sex operator phone lines thing people talk about on the boost your income thread.. considering selling my kids

  • aw no need to go down the sex operator route yet!

I haven't read all of your diary yet so apologies if i'm just repeating things but do you do surveys? L1ghtspeed and p!necone pay in paypal which is handy. How about bview you write reviews on places/businesses etc you can earn about £100 a month. Dooyoo pay in amazon vouchers/£50 cheques again reviews. B1ngoport? Play free bingo and earn points to redeem for amazon vouchers.

again apologies if you already know about these things.

Hi mrsC - is there nothing more you can trim from your outgoings?

Would you be better going on a dmp (debt management plan) with CCCS or similar rather than doing more balance transfers? Just a thought....

We are okay for Sept - Oct and Nov probably will be okay but wipe out all savings.... after that we are in the soup if I don't get a job.... We have lots of credit card cheques... one of which I need to decide if we will use by 14 Sept.... then we could have 0% for 6 months for a 3% transfer fee... may well do it if I don't get yesterday's job..... I hate waiting for news!!!

  • Hi Mrs cmr

Just catching up on your diary. Sorry to hear there will not be enough from your OH salary to pay everything. Is this just for this month only or each month?

Good luck selling the kids - tried selling my 4 - but no takers ;).

hi wos... nice to hear from you! thought if i sold kids as a full set then i would get more for them! tbh i think that monthly income will not be enough every month as we have sooo much credit.

SH - yes im looking to trim trim trim - still thinking might do more as could put mortgage on interest only for bit after november.

purpleroses.. yes i do surveys but tbh im looking for quick fix [arent we all!] but thanks for listing this as its good for others who might not know all this.

    :-(

  • Had a look at some of your thread and just wanted to say sorry that it wasn't the best news re OH income. Are you short by a lot? Mortgage interest free is at least an option you have, would it make up the shortfall?

Fingers crossed you sort it out.

  • Good news on the laptop, even if you don't want to see those spreadsheets!

I know this wouldn't happen immediately, but what about your place in Cyprus, could you sell that and use the funds to clear some of the debts, then would your OH's salary then cover everything? As a short term measure change your mortgage here to interest only, then change it back when you are more on an even keel.

Hope you can sort something out.

    Good luck.
