To Enable E-mail Protection

Step 1

Open the Norton AntiVirus control panel by double-clicking the shortcut on the desktop.
Step 2

Click the Options button at the top of the window.
Step 3

Select E-mail Protection in the list at the side of the Options for Norton AntiVirus window.
Step 4

Select Enable E-mail Protection (Recommended).
Step 5

Check the e-mail programs you want to enable protection for. (Norton AntiVirus may have to search your system for e-mail programs first.) Uncheck Outlook.

Click OK.
Close the Norton AntiVirus control panel.

Ok I can't remember the exact as i went onto the symantic website it said go into the regedit and change something to "Microsoft outlook express"- (and this is now what is says and I can't remember the exact wording of what it said) so this is what i did (hubby was tiding up and through away the printed out bit of paper that had the info on!) but if i remember right it is as my first post.
