Calls from creditors before BR - help!

i used to ignore the calls, but i answered 1 about a week before br date and told them i was going br and they said

you do know that you HAVE to keep up with the payments untill you are br so when will you be able to make a payment?

i said never

they said well miss ******* we need a payment to bring your account up to date before you go br so when can you make a payment

i said never again as im going br

she just kept repeating herself over and over and threatening court action.

i said ok take me to court i bet i get there before you do goodbye.

bless her cottons though she really didnt know what to say

I have unplugged my landline and fortunately my mobile phone is a blackberry so have installed a little application on it that allows me to blacklist certain numbers - I've put the numbers that call me in the blacklist which has made a massive difference!

It does let you see how many times a number has been blocked - in the last few days my calls have been:

Today:
Citi - 1:58pm
Halifax - 1:20pm
MBNA - 1:20pm & 8:31am

Yesterday:
MBNA - 8:58pm, 2:33pm, 12:31pm, 11:45am, 10:22am, 9:36am
Halifax - 8:20pm ,7:43pm, 4:18pm, 4:15pm, 4:12pm, 2:55pm, 1:05pm, 11:27am, 10:23am
Citi - 6:13pm, 9:05am

Sunday:
Halifax - 2:24pm, 12:01pm, 11:55am, 11:36am, 10:24am, 10:03am

Saturday:
Halifax - 2:39pm, 10am, 9:23am
MBNA - 8:53am

Shame on you Halifax for calling people at the weekends! You can imagine how nuts I would be going had all those calls actually managed to get through to me!

I've been getting calls from Capital One asking for me by name OH tells them to go forth and multiply

Interesting read..is this what we have to look forward to?..we have yet to default on our payments..one of which is an RBS loan..but we have been advised to ignore it until we go down the route of Low Income Low Assets sequestration.
Crazty thing is we've just returned to BT for our phone and they fluffed it,they've given us another home number..but this truly isn't good for us and we will HAVE to answer our phone...2 young kids at school one of which is undergoing hospital treatment..so it's crucial we have contact...IF we were to change our number the amount of child service NHS services we'd have to contact let alone the usual suspect would be phenomenal!

So what do you say if they call?...I'm trying to find the money?..I'll pay next week?..
