My cousin had a girl cat (so they thought) and they put a very blingy pink collar on it and called it a girls name, Suci. Took it to the vets to have the op and they told them it was a boy.

Still kept the collar and the name, so it's a gay cat now :D

My In Laws have a male cat called Missy... He had very small anatomical parts apparently... My Tabby's definitely a boy... His are black while the rest of his underneath is beige... They kind of stand out...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • lol this happened to me aswell. Luckily we'd chosen a unisex name (Jellybean) so it didn't really matter.

Being ginger, us and the people who we got her from, assumed she was a boy! It was lucky we took her to the vet when we did, or she would have had kittens with her brother before long!

If puss is insured it would be worth making a phone call to your insurers to let them know he is really a she as this might affect any future claims.

This happened to us. We got 2 kittens from a litter - a boy & girl (or so we thought) anyway we called them Meg & Mog and bought little blue & pink feed bowls ....... then the vet announced that Meg was in fact a boy

Its a bit unfortunate that i also really love the name Megan .... and will never be able to call a baby daughter of mine by this name now! Oh well ;-)
