    Have been in debt twice before and paid it off both times, determind never to be in debt again! fingers crossed!

    and I was only previously worried about having a 145k mortgage! (Perhaps that's one for another thread! come on someone make me feel better!)

    However it really does help to know I'm not alone - thank heavens for on-line communities like this

    Income = approx £6,500 in student loan, money from parents and earnings (£1100 goes on tuition fees alone!)

    Debt = £8000 and still rising (one more student loan payment to get). But have savings of £1000 so kind of only £7000 in debt, IYSWIM?
